Larry Wilmore to Milo on Bill Maher’s ‘Overtime’: ‘Go F— Yourself’ (Video)

Milo Yiannapoulos’ appearance on “Real Time with Bill Maher” might have been somewhat tepid. But on “Overtime,” the YouTube exclusive “Real Time” aftershow, the sparks flew furiously when panelist Larry Wilmore tore into Yiannopoulos when the Breitbart editor went off on a transphobic rant.

At the start of the 13-minute edition of “Overtime,” Maher asked Yiannopoulos why he singled out a transgender woman during a recent university appearance. Yiannopoulos justified his behavior with a rant aimed at the transgender community generally. (You can read more about that here.)

Yiannopoulos then defended efforts to force transgender people to use bathrooms assigned to their birth gender, a position Maher called “not unreasonable.” Wilmore spoke up, comparing the struggle of transgender people to the struggles of gays. He said it was easy to scapegoat an entire group based on extreme examples.

Things heated up from there as Wilmore and fellow panelist Malcolm Nance pushed back, until Yiannapoulos resorted to ad hominem attack.

“We were having such a nice time, but you [Bill Maher] always have such awful people on your show,” Yiannopoulos said. “They’re so stupid.”

After a flustered Maher began to talk back, Yiannopoulos continued: “You need to start inviting higher IQ guests.”

That’s when Wilmore had had enough. “Hold on Bill,” he said, turning to Yiannapoulos, to calmly add, “You can go f— yourself.”

Moments later, he objected to Yiannopoulos’ insults at actress Leslie Jones: “Leslie Jones is not barely literate, you can go f— yourself for that as well.”

At that, Maher weighed in, castigating Yiannopoulos for the personal attack, adding about Wilmore, “this guy has done things that allowed you to f—ing live.”

Trump Called These 9 Reporters ‘The Enemy’ – Here’s How They Answered

Note to Donald Trump: Don’t get into a war of words with some of the country’s best writers.

Many of the most recognizable journalists in the media world hit back at President Trump’s tweet on Friday calling the news media “the enemy of the American people.”

“Someone is cranky that Gallup has him at 38% and Pew has him at 39%,” MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough tweeted. “So now he’s resorting to FAKE TWEETS. SAD!”

Trump ruffled plenty of journalistic feathers when he railed against the media earlier in the day, tweeting to his more than 34 million followers: “The FAKE NEWS media (failing @Nytimes, @CNN, @NBCNews and many more) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American people. SICK!.”

The tweet was then quickly replaced with a slightly modified version that added ABC and CBS. The word “SICK!” was also omitted in the second post.

And CNN’s Chief National Security Correspondent Jim Sciutto wrote: “I’ve covered foreign countries where free media declared the enemy: China, Russia, Zimbabwe, Myanmar & more. Not language I’ve heard at home.”

Trump has been steadily building up his anti-media campaign since the election. As TheWrap previously reported, Trump’s team sent out a bizarre email survey on Thursday asking people how they feel about the media.

Among the questions were: “On which issues does the mainstream media do the worst job of representing Republicans?” and “Do you believe that the mainstream media does not do their due diligence fact-checking before publishing stories on the Trump administration?”

While not specifically called out by President Trump, journalists from other news outlets such as The Guardian, Verge, Wired and GQ also responded.

CNN got back at Donald Trump on Thursday after the cable news network was the target of repeated attacks during a bizarre press conference by creatively trolling the president on Twitter.

The bold move by CNN’s social media team includes various hand gestures from the wild, 77-minute press conference during which Trump dubbed the network “very fake news.”

“The press has become so dishonest, that if we don’t talk about it, we are doing a tremendous disservice to the American people,” Trump said on Thursday. “The press, honestly, is out of control. The level of dishonesty is out of control.”

After a 24-minute opening statement that included statements such as, “Drugs are becoming cheaper than candy bars,” Trump took questions from reporters, who he accused to their faces of pushing “fake news.”

Trump then said he doesn’t watch CNN anymore and took credit for a recent spike in cable news ratings, but then said he watches CNN and doesn’t like the tone.

“I don’t mind bad stories. I can handle a bad story better than anybody, as long as it’s true,” Trump said. “I’m not OK when it is fake. I watch CNN and it’s so much anger and hatred.”

On Wednesday, CNN’s Jim Acosta said “the fix is in” after Trump only called on conservative news organizations during a news conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

During Thursday’s press conference, Trump repeatedly pointed at Acosta and promised to eventually call on him. Once he did, the CNN reporter said, “Just for the record, we don’t hate you.”

“Ask Jeff Zucker how he got his job,” Trump said, referring to the CNN Worldwide president who used to oversee Trump’s “Apprentice” reality show.

It will be interesting to see what Trump thinks of CNN’s video.

President Trump Bashes ‘Out of Control’ Media: ‘I Inherited a Mess’

Donald Trump’s Presser for the Ages – 77 Minutes of Unvarnished Nutty

Remember the date — February 16, 2017. It’s one for the history books, the day that an American president gave a public performance so nutty, so bizarre, so full of malignant narcissism and wild invention that it boggles the mind and rattles the teeth.

In a 77-minute rant, Donald Trump defended his madcap administration as entirely sane, as if the firing of Mike Flynn, the collapse of Andrew Puzder’s cabinet candidacy, the ethics violation of Kellyanne Conway, the sinister stylings of Steve Bannon’s executive orders, the fight with the intelligence community, the battle with the judiciary, the posturing againt the media, the ongoing questions about Russia’s connection to his campaign, were not happening.

Remember people: His administration is not yet four weeks old.

Also Read: President Trump Bashes ‘Out of Control’ Media: ‘I Inherited a Mess’

Every question Trump took from a journalist was accompanied by a dig at the said journalist. He couldn’t take a question without insulting the person asking it. The CNN reporter had bad ratings. He called an orthodox Jewish journalist — the kind with the sidecurls and the black suit — a liar. He called on an African-American journalist and then asked her to set up a meeting with the Congressional Black Caucus. He dodged every question on Russia. And he said that Mike Flynn — who HE fired — didn’t do anything wrong, really.

The press conference, it has been reported, was a surprise to Trump’s own staff. So here’s how this went: The president tossed and turned all night, raging internally at the unfairness of it all. And he got up determined to set the world straight. To make sure everyone understood that he’s a good guy getting a bad rap.

But really, it was like upside down day. Like opposite day. Trump as the Mad Hatter, spinning an alternative reality without the goggles.

He denied that his White House was in chaos, as if he felt compelled to counter, verbatim, the New York Times whose headline said exactly that.

“There’s zero chaos,” he protested. The administration is a “fine-tuned machine.”

It got nuttier from there.

On Flynn: “The leaks are real. The news is fake.” (As others have pointed out, this is not possible. If the leaks are real, then the news they are leaking can’t be fake.”)

“I’m not a bad person.”

“I’m actually having a very good time. “

“I inherited a mess.”

“You’re dishonest people.”

“I’m the least anti-Semitic person you’ve ever seen in your entire life.”

On Russia:  “A nuclear holocaust would be like no other.”

Every day in Trump Administration time is like a month for any other presidency I’ve witnessed.

But today, our obstreperous and unhinged commander in chief must surely be giving some sleepless nights not to his enemies, but to his Republican friends.

The Most Followed Person on Instagram Pulls Away From Competition

It looks like Instagram’s most popular member just got that much more admired.

Anointed the app’s most followed user late last year (via Forbes), pop star Selena Gomez celebrated her 110 millionth follower on Thursday — which means her count has grown by seven million in little more than two months.

Gomez is pulling away from the competition as Taylor Swift has a (measly) 97.6 million followers on the photo sharing app. She was in second place late last year and her follower-ship has grown by a few million in that time, too.

The secret to Gomez’s Insta-popularity? It appears to be a secret alchemy of style, smiles and a whole lot of kissy-face poses:

Not all Fox News hosts are Republican lemmings. Take Shepard Smith, who has been carving out a name for himself as a voice of dissension at the network, speaking out against President Trump with growing regularity.

He took his disapproval to new heights on Thursday, deriding Trump shortly after his first solo presidential press conference.

“Your opposition was hacked and the Russians were responsible for it and your people were on the phone with Russia on the same day it was happening and we’re fools for asking the questions? No, sir,” Smith said on air.

Take Your Turn With the Sean Spicer Name Generator

White House press secretary Sean Spicer has had some trouble with names.

For one, he mistakenly called Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau “Joe.” He also called Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull “Malcolm Trumble” — not once, but twice.

“SNL” impersonator Melissa McCarthy has had fun with Spicey’s misnomers when she called other reporters “Glenn” after moving on from New York Times Reporter Glenn Thrush (played by Bobby Moynihan) in her now infamous first skit, playing the press secretary as angry and addicted to chewing gum.

Now, the Sydney Morning Herald has launched a Sean Spicer name generator, which promises to “Spicer-ize” any name you plug into it. (Play it here.)

For “Samuel” we got “Samurai.” For “Judy” we got “Juggler.” And for, ahem, “Donald” we got “Donaldson.” (Nope, Spicer can’t even get his own boss’ name right once it gets ground up in the Spicer-izer.)

Spicer has become a household name after being mocked by McCarthy on “Saturday Night Live.” CNN’s “Reliable Sources” host Brian Stelter tweeted last week that White House staffers made a gift of “several” Super Soaker squirt guns to Spicer as a result of her sketch — which had him shooting soapy water at a reporter in response to a question he didn’t like.

On Sunday, Spicer took to Twitter to call Stelter out for the tweet, saying it was wrong, echoing Trump administration claims that CNN is “fake news.”

President Donald Trump Will Not Fill Out NCAA Tournament Bracket

Forget President Donald Trump’s unpopular travel ban, allegations of collusion with Russia, and his bashing of the mainstream media in press conferences. His most recent escapade could be his most egregious yet.

Prepare yourself: President Trump will not be filling out an NCAA bracket.

ESPN had reached out to the White House to see if Trump would continue Barack Obama’s annual tradition of filling out a bracket for both the men and women’s basketball tournament, but alas, Trump will not be taking part in March Madness this year.

Also Read: Trump Asks Black Reporter About Congressional Black Caucus: ‘Are They Friends of Yours?’

“We expressed our interest to the White House in continuing the presidential bracket,” ESPN said in a statement to TheWrap on Thursday. “They have respectfully declined.”

While he’s wagering on the big tournament, Trump does boast at least on college basketball veteran among his loyal supporters.

Former coach Bobby Knight (above with Trump), who won three national championships during a 30-year career at Indiana, attended a number of Trump’s rallies during his presidential campaign, telling a crowd in Grand Rapids, Michigan: “we need a Donald Trump more than we’ve ever needed anybody since George Washington,” Politico reported.

Obama, himself an avid basketball player, filled out a bracket every year he was in office. Sadly though, the former Commander-in-Chief was not so good at picking winners.

The only time he successfully predicted the final winner of the tournament was his first year in office, when he correctly picked North Carolina to win it all.

Last year, Obama picked Kansas to win it in the finals. He had previously picked Kansas University twice, both in losing efforts. But Kansas would not live up to Obama’s expectations, with Number 2 seed Villanova beating North Carolina.

Hijab-Wearing Model Halima Aden Walks in Kanye West’s New York Fashion Week Show

New York Fashion Week continued to make cultural statements Wednesday as hijab-wearing model Halima Aden walked in Kanye West’s Yeezy Season Five presentation.

It’s not the first time the recently-signed IMG model has hit the headlines and sparked conversations about diversity in fashion.

Last year, the 19-year-old was the first Miss Minnesota contestant to wear a hijab for the entirety of the state’s Miss USA competition. She also wore a burkini in the swimsuit portion of the contest.

“It’s unbelievable. I never thought that I would see a hijab-wearing model walking in such a prestigious event, but it makes it even more exciting that it was me,” Aden told People on Thursday.

“For a really long time I felt misrepresented, even growing up, I had no one to look up to, there weren’t any hijab-wearing models that I knew, or people in the media that you could relate to,” she continued.

As for working with West, she told People “he was so nice, and I just remember being like, ‘Oh my god! I’m standing in front of Kanye!”

West has been a controversial figure for years, but has been in the news lately for his meeting with President Donald Trump. He recently deleted all of his tweets defending the meeting.

Aden, a Somali-American born in a Kenyan refugee camp, is the first of her family to come to the United States, Vogue reported.

President of IMG Models Ivan Bart recently told Business of Fashion “by representing Halima, I would hope that the next 10-year-old girl wearing her hijab right now will feel included in the experience of fashion, and know that she could do that too,” he said. “We need to reflect in fashion who we are, as a human race.”

During a long, rambling press conference, President Trump’s abrupt, heated exchange with reporter April Ryan became a flashpoint of anger, mockery, and backlash among viewers on Twitter.

When Ryan, who is African-American, asked if the president would meet with the CBC – first having to explain that CBC stood for Congressional Black Caucus. Trump replied, “I would. You want to set up the meeting? Do you want to set up the meeting? Are they friends of yours?”

“No, I’m just a reporter,” Ryan replied, but Trump doubled down, retorting, “Go ahead, set up the meeting.”

President Trump Bashes ‘Out of Control’ Media: ‘The Press Has Become So Dishonest’

President Donald Trump selected Alexander Acosta as his choice for labor secretary during a press conference on Thursday afternoon before turning his attention to the media.

“The Press has become so dishonest, that if we don’t talk about it, we are doing a tremendous disservice to the American people,” Trump said. “The press, honestly, is out of control. The level of dishonesty is out of control.”

After a 24-minute opening statement that included quotes such as, “Drugs are becoming cheaper than candy bars,” Trump took questions from reporters, who he called “fake news” to their faces.

Trump said both the leakers of government information and the press who prints it “should be ashamed.” The president called a recent New York Times story “a joke” and claimed it has been discredited.

Trump also mocked the Wall Street Journal, saying it is almost as disgraceful as the Times.

“I don’t mind bad stories. I can handle a bad story better than anybody, as long as its true,” Trump said. “I’m not OK when it is fake. I watch CNN and it’s so much anger and hatred.”

Trump then said he doesn’t watch CNN anymore and took credit for a recent spike in cable news ratings.

During the combative press conference, Trump called on reporters from a variety of news organizations. Just yesterday, CNN’s Jim Acosta said “the fix is in” after Trump only called on conservative news organizations during a news conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“In the last three news conferences, all of the questions to the America news media have been handled by conservative press,” Acosta said on air yesturday. “The fix it in.”

During Thursday’s press conference, Trump repeatedly pointed at Acosta and promised to eventually call on him. Once he did, the CNN reporter said, “Just for the record, we don’t hate you.”

“Ask Jeff Zucker how he got his job,” Trump said, referring to the CNN Worldwide president who used to oversee Trump’ “Apprentice” reality show.

Acosta and Trump then argued over CNN’s ratings, “We do have other people and your ratings aren’t as good as some who are waiting,” the president said.

Acosta eventually asked about WikiLeaks, comparing Trump getting upset over the leaking highly classified information to him encouraging leaking emails related to Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

At one point, Trump openly searched for a “friendly reporter” after he was tired of answering questions about his relationship with Russia. It’s not just the Times, WSJ and CNN that Trump is angry with. When a BBC reporter tried to ask a question, Trump said, “There is another beauty.”

Trump went on to call “Fox & Friends” the “most honest morning show,” while saying the tone of CNN is “almost exclusive anti-Trump.” He even said he was going to start referring to CNN as “very fake news” and joked that he made sure Alexander Acosta wasn’t related to the CNN reporter.

Acosta doesn’t need to worry about the president only calling on conservative news organizations after today’s combative press conference, but we doubt this will end the CNN’s reporter’s issues with the president.

Trump Nominates Alexander Acosta as Labor Secretary, First Hispanic in New Cabinet

President Donald Trump selected Alexander Acosta as his choice for labor secretary during a press conference on Thursday afternoon, making him the first Hispanic member of Trump’s cabinet if he’s confirmed.

Acosta is an attorney who has worked in government in the past. Andrew Puzder — CEO of the CKE Restaurants fast-food chain, owner of Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. — recently withdrew his name from consideration for the same position.

Acosta was assistant attorney general for the Civil Rights Division under President George W. Bush and is expected to get confirmed fairly easily in comparison to other Trump nominees.

Acosta, who most recently served as Dean of Florida International University College of Law, was a member of the National Labor Relations Board and also served as Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Rights Division.

Puzder, Trump’s first choice for the position, ended his bid after domestic abuse allegations surfaced, reportedly courtesy of Oprah Winfrey’s OWN.

On Monday, news emerged via Politico that the Oprah Winfrey Network had provided Democratic and Republican senators with a 1990 episode of “Oprah” that featured Puzder’s former wife, Lisa Fierstein. In the 1990 episode, wearing an elaborate disguise, Fierstein detailed physical abuse she said Puzder inflicted on her during their marriage.

Soon after the report, the video itself was leaked online. In it, Fierstein tells Winfrey that she had been threatened by Puzder for going public with her allegations during their divorce. “I will see you in the gutter,” she claimed Puzder said to her.

Fierstein later recanted her accusations, and has defended Puzder’s nomination.

“I regret my decision to appear on the show … I was hesitant but encouraged by friends and became caught up in the notion of a free trip to Chicago and being a champion of women and women’s issues,” she said in a statement.

In his statement on the matter, Puzder didn’t address the allegations or explain his reasons for withdrawing his name from consideration.

Tiffany Trump Thanks Whoopi Goldberg for Defending Her Against Fashion ‘Bullies’

Tiffany Trump has thanked Whoopi Goldberg for coming to her defense after various fashion writers tweeted that no one wanted to sit next to President Donald Trump’s daughter in the front row of Philipp Plein’s recent show during New York Fashion Week.

In a tweet shared on Monday by Wall Street Journal fashion columnist Christina Binkley, Trump’s daughter was seen at the event, surrounded by empty seats.

“You know what Tiffany? I’m supposed to go to a couple more shows — I’m coming to sit with you,” Goldberg said Wednesday on “The View.” “Because nobody is talking politics at the [shows], you’re looking at fashion! She doesn’t want to talk about her dad. She’s looking at the fashion!”

Goldberg added, “I don’t want to talk about your dad, but, girl, I will sit next to you. Because I’ve been there where people said, ‘We’re not going to sit next to you.’ I’ll find your ass and sit next to you!”

Trump responded to Goldberg on Wednesday, tweeting: “Thank you @WhoopiGoldberg I’d love to sit with you too!”

On “The View,” Goldberg added that she had no problem with people boycotting Ivanka Trump’s clothing line, that Nordstrom recently dropped.

“There is a difference,” Goldberg said. “That’s all about buying stuff. You’re buying stuff. This girl is looking at fashion, and she’s just looking at fashion.”

When reports surfaced that magazine editors were avoiding Trump, many took to Twitter to criticize the women for being bullies.

Plein has since joined the chorus, coming to Trump’s defense.

“I mean can you blame someone, like a family member, can you blame a daughter for having… a father who has the wrong political direction,” the German designer told TMZ. “I’m not a politician… I just don’t think it’s right to judge or treat someone not with respect because she or he is the daughter or son of somebody people don’t like. I think that’s so bad.”

Trump was later photographed sitting next to Andrew Warren and another woman at Plein’s show, the NY Daily News reported.

PewDiePie Apologizes for Anti-Semitic Jokes: ‘I Admit the Joke Itself Went Too Far’ (Video)

YouTube Star PewDiePie has apologized for the anti-semitic jokes that caused Maker Studios and YouTube to drop him this past week, but says the media took his comments out of context.

“I’m sorry for the words that I used, as I know they offended people,” he said in a video posted Thursday. “And I admit the joke itself went too far.”

PewDiePie, whose real name is Felix Kjellberg, was dropped by the company after videos including anti-semitic jokes were uncovered by the Wall Street Journal.

According to the report, Kjellberg posted a video on Jan. 11 featuring footage of two men laughing as they hold up a banner reading “Death to all Jews.” In addition, the paper found nine other instances of anti-semitic jokes on his channel.

However, in his response video, PewDiePie said that the Wall Street Journal and other outlets that covered the reports had taken his jokes out of context. He added that over the years, he’s become less tolerant of the media, which “blatantly misrepresent people for their own personal gain.” He says that he was attacked “by the media to try to discredit me and decrease my influence and economic worth.” He added it was a “personal attack” to portray him as a “Nazi.”

“Old-school media does not like internet personalities because they’re scared of us,” PewDiePie said. “We have so much influence and such a large voice — and I don’t think they understand it.”

Three of Kjellberg’s videos have since been removed, including the one posted on Jan. 11 and another posted on Jan. 22 that showed a man dressed up as Jesus Christ saying, “Hitler did absolutely nothing wrong.”

Kjellberg’s channel currently has more than 53 million subscribers. Last December, he topped Forbes’ list of the highest-paid YouTubers of 2016, having made more than $15 million.

This is not the first time the 27-year-old has come under fire for controversial jokes. He previously threatened to shut down his channel after reaching 50 million subscribers, in what turned out to be a publicity stunt.

Former ‘Harry Potter’ Star to Pose Nude for Playboy

Scarlett Byrne, the actress who played Draco Malfoy’s Slytherin classmate Pansy Parkinson in the “Harry Potter” films, will be among the first women to pose nude in Playboy following the magazine’s decision to bring back nude photo shoots after a two-year absence.

Byrne announced her appearance with a black and white photo of herself on Instagram and Twitter. She says her photos will be accompanied by an essay called “The Feminist Mystique.”

The actress is currently engaged to Cooper Hefner, the son of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and the magazine’s chief creative officer.

In her essay, Byrne said she wanted to post nude not only to support her fiancé, “but also an opportunity to make a statement about equality between the two sexes.

“Having the opportunity to be part of an iconic American brand that has fought to make sex and other topics considered taboo more mainstream seemed like a unique and special occasion,” she continued, however, she did have her reservations, as “when women associate themselves with anything involving ownership of their sexuality, they’re often perceived as having abandoned their intellect.”

Hefner announced the return of nudes to Playboy on Monday with a March/April issue titled “Naked Is Normal.”

“I’ll be the first to admit that the way in which the magazine portrayed nudity was dated, but removing it entirely was a mistake,” Hefner wrote on Twitter. “Nudity was never the problem because nudity isn’t a problem. Today we’re taking our identity back and reclaiming who we are.”

Did Oprah Kill Andrew Puzder’s Labor Secretary Nomination?

At the beginning of this week, fast food executive Andrew Puzder looked firmly on track to become Labor Secretary for the Trump administration.

Nominated by Donald Trump on Dec. 8, he had weathered criticism from Democrats on issues ranging from the minimum wage to his hiring of an undocumented domestic worker. But Republicans largely defended him, and it seemed likely he’d be confirmed by the Senate, like all of Trump’s prior cabinet nominees.

Then on Wednesday afternoon, Pudzer  — CEO of the CKE Restaurants fast-food chain, owner of Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. — withdrew his name from consideration.

What happened? By all appearances, it seems Oprah happened.

Also Read: Oprah Interview With ‘Battered’ Ex-Wife of Trump’s Labor Secretary Pick Leaks Online (Video)

On Monday, news emerged via Politico that the Oprah Winfrey Network had provided Democratic and Republican senators with a 1990 episode of “Oprah” that featured Puzder’s former wife, Lisa Fierstein.

OWN did not respond to a request for comment.

Also Read: Michael Flynn Resigns as Trump’s National Security Adviser

Things got worse, ironically, on Tuesday when a Missouri circuit court unsealed portions of the couple’s divorce proceedings, backing the “Oprah” revelations by showing that Fierstein had accused Puzder of “striking her violently about the face, chest, back, shoulders and neck.” In addition, according to US News and World Reports, Fierstein said Puzder “inflicted serious bodily harm.”

Fierstein later recanted her accusations, and has defended Puzder’s nomination.

“I regret my decision to appear on the show… I was hesitant but encouraged by friends and became caught up in the notion of a free trip to Chicago and being a champion of women and women’s issues,” she said in a statement.

Some Republicans initially issued statements dismissing the abuse allegations as a smear against Puzder. But Wednesday morning, Fox News and CBS News, among others, reported that a group of Senate Republicans had requested the Trump administration withdraw Puzder from consideration for the position.

By 2:30 p.m. ET, he was done.

Also Read: John Oliver Blames Oprah for the Rise of Trump (Video)

In his statement on the matter, Puzder didn’t address the allegations or explain his reasons for withdrawing his name from consideration. Senate Republicans who have spoken to the news media, such as Tim Scott of South Carolina, have not mentioned allegations of abuse, citing only concerns about his business practices and the aforementioned hiring of an undocumented worker.

By itself, the decades-old allegations probably weren’t enough to derail Puzder’s hopes, especially as his ex-wife herself has recanted them. But the timing suggests the involvement of OWN in disseminating those allegations proved the tipping point that gave just enough wavering Republicans the excuse they needed to pull their support.

Perhaps Oprah should add a video component to her famous book club.

Wu-Tang Affiliated Rapper Posts Penis Pic to Clear His Name After TMZ Legal Loss

Rapper Andre Roxx is baring all to try to prove that a report he cut off his own penis isn’t true.

Roxx — whose real name is Marques Andre Johnson — took to Facebook on Wednesday after losing a libel lawsuit against TMZ, which reported that the Wu-Tang Clan-affiliated rapper had cut off his own penis. After his court setback, he decided to prove his manhood was intact in the only court that matters — the court of social media.

You can see the proof here. (But not at work, obviously.)

“Case dismissed on a Technicality huh? OK so I guess there is no way I can maintain my dignity AND clear my name, so fuck it. Here’s what you’ve all been waiting to see,” Roxx wrote. “Do me a favor and screen shot this post and send it to TMZ, BET, USA Today and all the other news outlets that decided to fight me for 3 years rather than simply issuing a retraction and clearing my name, and ask them why they couldn’t just operate under the principals of basic human decency and clear the name that they destroyed.”

The rapper also posted his phone number, writing, “since the media claimed last time that they had such a problem getting a hold of me to get my side of the story, MY F–KING CELL PHONE NUMBER IS [redacted].”

He also shared the image on Twitter.

Roxx, who is affiliated with the hip-hop collective the Wu-Tang Clan via membership in Killa Beez, sued TMZ Productions and others in March 2016. According to the suit, the April 2014 report claimed that Johnson “was rushed to the hospital early Wednesday after he cut off his penis and then jumped off a second story balcony.”

However, the libel suit contended, the rapper who committed the act of self-mutilation was actually another rapper affiliated with the Wu-Tang Clan, Christ Bearer. Christ Bearer later said he was proud of the decision to cut off his own penis.

Also Read: TMZ Pricked by Libel Lawsuit Over Penis-Severance Story

On Wednesday, a judge dismissed the complaint, saying that the complaint should fall under Pennsylvania’s statute of limitations, which limits libel claims to a one-year window.

Johnson’s suit claimed that the rapper, who was incarcerated at the time of the report, was forced to go into protective custody “because other inmates began threatening, harassing and attacking him,” according to the complaint.

Johnson also said that his association with the story has damaged his music career, and “has made it exceedingly difficult for Plaintiff to earn a living even outside of the music industry.”
